Is VELURA really free?

Yes. VELURA runs on free, open resources — browser-native voice synthesis, on-device thumbnail and video rendering, and local-first storage. Deploy it free on Cloudflare Pages. For higher-quality AI text, you can optionally plug in a free OpenAI-compatible provider (like Groq's free tier).

Do I need any API keys?

No. The app works fully offline out of the box. Adding an optional AI provider key in Settings upgrades text quality — and you keep full control of your own keys, stored locally on your device.

Is the content original and compliant?

VELURA is built to create 100% original content. Viral analysis extracts structure only — never copies. AI-disclosure reminders and ethical guardrails are built into every output to align with 2026 platform policies.

Can I install it as an app?

Yes. VELURA is a Progressive Web App — installable on desktop and mobile, with offline support and push-notification ready architecture.

Can I self-host and customize it?

Absolutely. The entire codebase is open under the MIT license. Clone it, brand it, extend it, and deploy it wherever you like.
