Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of VELURA (the “Service”), provided by Farouk Pandor. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Your account & content

You are responsible for your account and for all content you create, publish, or distribute using the Service. You retain ownership of your content. The Service is a tool; it does not claim ownership of your work.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use VELURA to:

  • Create or distribute content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy of others;
  • Reproduce copyrighted material — the viral analysis feature extracts structure only, never content;
  • Make false, deceptive, or misleading claims, including guaranteed income promises;
  • Violate applicable laws or the policies of any platform you publish to.

3. AI-generated content & disclosure

VELURA may assist in generating content using AI. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs for accuracy and for disclosing AI assistance where required by the platform you publish to (for example, YouTube’s altered/synthetic content policy). The Service includes reminders to help you comply, but compliance is ultimately your responsibility.

4. Free, open-source & self-hosted

VELURA is open source under the MIT license. You may self-host and modify it under that license. The free tier is provided as-is. Optional paid plans, where available, add managed hosting and support and are governed by these Terms.

5. Referrals & affiliates

VELURA may offer a referral/affiliate program. Commissions apply only to qualifying, attributed upgrades. You may not refer yourself or engage in fraudulent or spammy promotion. We may withhold commissions for suspected abuse.

6. No warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific results, revenue, or uptime.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VELURA and its author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Because the default deployment is local-first, your data remains on your device; you can export or reset it from Settings at any time.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the repository. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
